BOY!
It turns out that Aidan is going to have a little brother!
YES, they are quite sure that it’s a boy. Although it’s never 100% guaranteed, that part was the only part of the ultrasound picture that was clear to me. I remember that during Aidan’s ultrasound I was sure at one point that his rear end was his face, and during this one, I thought that the heart was the face. But when the technician directed the view toward the nether regions of the body, even I was able to identify what I was seeing. Boy again!
role confusion & kid logic
This morning, Aidan finished his breakfast before Tim and I finished ours, and he was bouncing on the couch near the breakfast table. Aidan heard me call Tim “Timmy,” and then he said something like, “Timmy come read book.” So I asked him, “Who is Timmy? Can you point to Timmy?” Then he pointed to Tim and said:
“Ee’s over there. Timmy sitting in Daddy’s chair.”
