BOY!
It turns out that Aidan is going to have a little brother!
YES, they are quite sure that it’s a boy. Although it’s never 100% guaranteed, that part was the only part of the ultrasound picture that was clear to me. I remember that during Aidan’s ultrasound I was sure at one point that his rear end was his face, and during this one, I thought that the heart was the face. But when the technician directed the view toward the nether regions of the body, even I was able to identify what I was seeing. Boy again!

Several weeks ago, we took Aidan with us to the hospital so that I could have an ultrasound. (Yes–THAT kind of ultrasound–I’m 15 weeks along today). The ultrasound monitor showed a very clear picture of a baby with distinct arms, legs, hands, feet, head, etc., although Aidan was sure it was a video of a seal until Tim told him that it was in fact his brother or sister. That night, while Aidan was taking a bath, we asked him where his brother or sister was. His very logical reply? “Behind the computer.”
